1. Scope & Domestic Entertainment Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the reservation, acquisition, restoration, and supply of reconditioned amusement machines, arcade cabinets, pinball tables, and jukeboxes by London Slot Machines Ltd (registered at 55 Spring Gardens, Manchester, M2 2BY, United Kingdom).
All equipment sold or serviced by London Slot Machines Ltd is intended exclusively for private domestic entertainment, family game rooms, corporate leisure lounges, and collector display collections. All machines are supplied configured for brass souvenir tokens or one-touch free-play mode. Souvenir tokens carry zero financial value and cannot be exchanged for currency. We do not sell or support commercial wagering apparatus.
2. Order Enquiry & Quotation Confirmation
Because each restored machine is a heavy electro-mechanical piece with unique characteristics, this website operates an enquiry and reservation desk rather than automated retail card transactions.
Submitting a checkout enquiry reserves the equipment for up to 5 business days while our engineering staff verifies 230V mains compatibility and calculates bespoke white-glove transport rates based on your UK postcode. An order is formally confirmed only when the customer approves the written specification pack and settles the formal BACS bank transfer invoice or showroom invoice.
3. 45-Point Audit & Technical Condition
All machines listed in our inventory are genuine commercial cabinets that have undergone our comprehensive 45-Point Electrical and Mechanical Audit:
- Power supply units are load-tested and recapped with high-grade components.
- Stepper motors, optical sensors, and interrupter wheels are calibrated.
- Rechargeable RAM memory batteries are renewed.
- A certified UK Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) safety certificate is completed prior to delivery.
4. 12-Month Domestic Warranty
Every complete machine supplied for private residential use includes our comprehensive 12-Month Parts & Bench Labour Guarantee:
- Coverage: The guarantee covers internal logic boards, power supplies, stepper motors, optical sensors, audio amplifiers, and reel mechanism linkages against mechanical failure under ordinary domestic operating conditions.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover accidental damage, physical misuse, water ingress, modifications performed by unauthorised third parties, or cosmetic wear and tear resulting from subsequent transport.
- Service Delivery: Warranty service is provided through technical phone support, dispatch of replacement plug-and-play components, or engineer bench repair at our Manchester technical depot.
5. White-Glove Logistics & In-Room Placement
Machines are dispatched via our specialised two-person white-glove transport network. The customer is responsible for ensuring clear, safe access into the property (including measuring doorways, stairwells, and turns). Any site constraints (such as steep spiral staircases or exterior steps) must be declared during the consultation phase.
6. 14-Day Collector Return Privilege
We offer a 14-day collector satisfaction privilege for domestic customers in the UK. If a delivered cabinet materially fails to match the documented mechanical condition or specifications provided prior to purchase, the customer may request an inspection and return within 14 calendar days of delivery.
Returned cabinets must be returned in the identical condition as delivered, complete with all supplied keys, brass souvenir tokens, manuals, and PAT test certificates. Bespoke transport recovery costs apply unless the item is verified mechanically defective upon initial installation.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and any contracts formed with London Slot Machines Ltd are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
